Our varsity football team and its new head football coach have had a tough start to the new program’s season.
Head Coach Andy Sullivan has coached football at Linden for two years before taking over the head coach position from former head coach Mark Miller who held the position for nearly 20 years.

The team had an outstanding first game against Franklin High School in the first ever “Battle for 26.” The team dominated over half the game, but
went on to lose in a close game at 35 – 44 with a late touchdown being scored by Franklin in the fourth quarter.
The team went on to face off against the Gustine Reds in the first home of the 2017/2018 school year with the Lions fighting hard but not coming up victorious.
The team is working hard but so far coming up short on the scoreboard. They suffered a tough loss against Summerville at Homecoming.
The Lions will be on the road next week facing off against Sonora next Friday, so come out and support your Linden High School football teams!
