Linden High Band and Color Guard bring the half-time a full performance

The Linden High Band and Color Guard performed their hearts out during the Homecoming half time.

The band readily marched across the track as soon as the time on the score board hit 9:00 during the second quarter.  With one last run through of the music and the routines on the side of the track, the performers were ready to display to the crowd their hours of commitment they had invested for the half time show.

Color Guard member Isabelle Garcia expressed her anticipation and said, “I was super excited for the homecoming performance.”

Marching in from the field from front and back, the Band and Color Guard joined together and began their performance.  Like the previous home game, the first song they presented was Mickey the Sorcerer.  The end of the high paced song brought forth the beginning of a more smooth Princess Melody.  While one song depicted great sources of energy, the second depicted emotion.

The end of the show came with cheers and loud claps from the audience watching.  The Band and Color Guard immediatly marched to the end zone, ready to support the football team as they ran back onto the field from through the tunnel.

“There’s always something I think I could have done better,” says Isabelle, “but overall I think I did well and improved a lot from my past performance.”
