Our Journalists hard at work: (Left to Right) Victoria Martir and Loc Lee collaborate while Editor-in-Chief Irene Duran shows off our new app you can download for free.

The Lion’s Roar is currently looking for businesses, organizations, and individual sponsors who would like to support student journalism at Linden High School.  While our school newspaper used to be produced by students enrolled in a Journalism class, at this time, your online student newspaper is brought to you by a dedicated ASB club.

Last year, LHS’s journalism club made the leap to bring student news into the 21st century by purchasing its own dedicated website and an app available to students and the general public for free at the App Store and Google Play Store. The club was able to do this entirely with student club funds.

We now need your support to keep this program running. Students, faculty, the broader Linden community, and even readers from around the country and the globe have a new source for information about events and issues impacting students at Linden High.

If you would like to show your support for student journalism at LHS, please consider purchasing an ad for your business or a sponsorship.  Funds raised will help us maintain our site and app, as well as give our journalists the necessary tools to be successful.

Individuals can be an annual sponsor for just $25, families for $50, and organizations and business can show their support as a sponsor for $100.  Those interested in buying ads should contact us for pricing information.
